What is different about our coverage?

Our team of photographers are portraiture and lighting experts. We know when and where to find good lighting which is the key element to great imagery. Furthermore, we know how to use and modify light to create great mood and dramatic images. The experience that you felt with us on your wedding day is like none other. You have to experience it yourself to know the difference.

What do we offer in our coverage that is different than others?

Our coverage is unique because we are one of the very few studio that present your wedding images from earlier on that day at your reception. The slideshow presentation will be set up at the reception so that you and your guest can start to share the moments and memories as event progresses. This slideshow generally includes the images from the ceremony, group shots, and the creative session of the bride and groom.

Do we shoot film or digital?

Wedding 64 is one of the very few exclusive studio the the nation that provides a hybrid coverage at your wedding. This means that at your wedding we would photograph your images both with film and digital camera. Additionally, we are part of a ever fewer group of photographers that uses black and white infrared film. More than 90% of our black and white work is done solely with infrared film. Black and White Infrared film gives images that has an artistic and timeless look that cannot be achieved utilizing digital techniques. It has a great surreal and softness quality to it, while maintaining an interesting grain structure (texture). In short it gives you an images unordinary.

As for our digital coverage, what makes our digital images unique?

Well our team of great photographers is part of the bigger equation that create fun and timeless images. While the previous statement is true, we also utilize state of the art professional equipment from both Nikon and Canon. And to ensure that you get nothing but the best, we photograph your images in RAW capture mode. RAW mode on professional digital cameras essentially capture all the available information in a scene for us to use later. Think of it as a digital negative, similarly to a film negative.

What is the RAW difference, and what does other photographers shoots beside RAW?

Some photographers photograph weddings on JPEG mode; with JPEG your images is process by the camera computer and the files are then compress to save space. Furthermore, data capture from the scene that were not use are thrown away. What make RAW different is that no information (data) from an image is thrown away nor is the data being generically process by the camera. What this means to you is that, we can get a much better images from RAW than JPEG. The color, sharpness, clarity, and potential of your images increase when we photograph with RAW. However, to gain these advantage with RAW, each and every images that we took must be process with a computer RAW conversion software, this process is time consuming, however, because we believer that you deserve the best on your wedding day, we are willing to spend the extra time to reach perfection, just for you!

Why are your print images different?

Our attention to detail and our philosophy of perfection. All photographic images that we produce for you must go through a rigorous hand inspection process before we sent them out to you. Essentially you can rest assured that if a print or an album is not perfect it is unacceptable.

What makes your wedding album special?

Our wedding album is special first and foremost because they are comprised of precious images from your wedding. Secondly, all of our album are custom design for you, so essentially no two albums are ever alike. Since these album are filled with your wedding images, no template or mass production design will be part of the process. This is what makes your album unique to you and your wedding. Furthermore, depending on the album that you select, our album are produced either in Italy or in Japan. These two country are known for their attention to details and high quality product, similar to our philosophy, you deserved the best.
