Matt + Motoko wedding was awesome! The couple were so fun and energetic, not to mention the very elegance Kimono, Wow! The bride a native Californian from Oxnard, met Matt in New York and fell in love. This is one of the many weddings I photographed that demonstate to love and destiny. May your marriage be filled with laughter and happiness. Congrations again to Motoko + Matt!

Beside all the fun and great images at weddings, I also photographed publicity for City of Santa Barbara as well. A similar, yet different type of photography than wedding, but just as fun. Tonight I photographed a dance class and open floor dancing. This event happens every Saturday and is filled with enthuses people who just love to dance and have great time. Check out some of the images from tonight dance below, some really cool movement going on there. Please note that these images have not been Photoshop.
Enjoy.

This is my lovely model for last week portrait session at Napps Castle in Santa Barbara. It is truly a neat location! Also I got a picture below before sunset as well….

My Accolade of Excellence Ribbon just came in from WPPI. Ok, so here is my honest thought, I wasn’t expecting this ribbon at all. I know that they would sent out the press release, which I’ve posted on this blog, but a full on ribbon, this is just awesome! The WPPI logo on the top part of this ribbon is made out of aluminum, so it has a good weight, and fell really nice. Thanks WPPI!

Lastly for my trip up to Northern California, before I left I got a chance to visit on of my good old friend at Apple Head Quarter in Cupertino, where I purchased an Apple Shirt & Key Ring, it was hard not to spend more money there, but I did my best. I mean, after all it is my visit to the Mothership
Some very limited images from the Apple campus below. Oh and the best part was that I got a chance to have coffee at the Apple Cafe inside the badge area of the Apple campus, no picture was taken inside for security reason, but Apple Coffee was cool!
Stay tune for more posting, coming up soon. And as always cheers

P.S. By the way my visit the Apple HQ was a success, while my visit to Adobe HQ in San Jose, was not quite as successful, at least for this trip any way.

Again this is part of my Live! philosophy, so I’ve visited San Francisco after all of the lectures & demos. The trip was great, I got a chance to drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, which I then found out I have to pay $5 for the toll, ouch! Most of my visit was concentrate on the North West side of the city. There I found many of the touristy shots, however, in my search I also manages to find some nice fineart - creative shot as well. Also if you go to SF, I would recommend that you buy at least a 1 day pass for the cable car & trolley, for $11 if you ride the various car for multiple trip, it is so worth it. Although, this was not my first visit to San Francisco, it was the first time that I got a chance to ride in a cable car & trolley and also the first that I got to visit spots that are not as touristy as well. There are 60 images from this gallery below, so please enjoy, perhaps just grab a cup of coffee, sit back, relax and click on the next button the view the images.
Cheers…

Here are some images from PPNV LightRoom & Lighting workshop in Redding, hosted at Mike Sauer House. The workshop is a hands on program broken into 2 parts, one is the Lighting Hands-on and Demo, and the other is LightRoom Live usage. There were 10 photographers at the program, which made this a really focus program. We had a lot of fun and although I am not the model, thanks to Diana Vader, she did snap quite a few shot of the group when I was presenting my program.

This portion of my blog, where after I gave a program or photographed a wedding, and then I travel and enjoy life in the surrounding area is now going to be call “Live!” That is correct, the images seen here are what I got from Redding, CA. It is a really hot and neat place up north to visit and I got to do just that. Some of the images are more fineart in nature, while other are just abstract and the only thing that I can tell you is, I hope that you would enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy shooting them!
Cheers…
