May I present to you all, Janet + Ben. A great and fun engagement session. Part of this engagement session took part in an old country style downtown. But to say the least we didn’t finished the shoot there. Because the park and state government are greatly in need of money, we needed to pay for a permit which we don’t have. Oh well, so what it came down to was that we went to a beach near the Malibu area, which then we got more great shots. There you have it, great images even when I have to go to plan B on the spot.

I was fortunate enough to be the official photographer for Professional Photographers of California officer Installation Ceremony held at Brooks Institute Campus in Santa Barbara. Congratulations to the new officers for 2008-2009. The PPC president this year is Tim Meyer a good friend of mine, so congratulations Tim. Tim theme for PPC this year is “Membership that matters.”
Adobe has finally release the much-anticipated LightRoom 2.0. To be honest, I won’t be doing too much writing in this post; however, I’ve provided a link at the end of this post to a short video highlight that touches on a few LR2.0 feature set. As I mentioned in the video, I will be recording more screen cast session about the new feature in LR2.0 and post them online for all of you to view them. More screen cast to come…but for the time being here’s one to start out.

As always my congratulations and best wishes to the bride and groom. The wedding of Melanie + Andrew was one of a different setting and surrounding. They had their wedding in the zoo, so aside of their beloved guests; there were also others permanent guests as well. Amount them are the giraffes, elephants, lions, and many more, who were there to share in the couple special day, and I’m sure they sent their good thoughts and congrats in as well. One more thing that I must add is the fact that Melanie wedding dress is so amazing as you can see in the images blow. So as I promise all of my blogger fans a few months back I would post some tear sheets of the images that got published in Rangefinder Magazine (RF Mag). Here are 2 spreads from where my work got published. There are a few images that got published as compilations along with personal thanks to the photographers who photographed the event including myself. And to top things off, keeping the best for last, my image of the Ballys and Paris Hotel, got center spread on the introduction pages of the wrap-up column. What more can I ask for, anyway I look forward to seeing many of you at my WPPI 2009 Convention Master class.

Last Saturday, my team, the dream team coverage may I add, photographed Andrea + Dean wedding at La Jolla, California. It was a day where the sun and sky was in perfect conditions which yeild these images with great lighting and not to metion a very cute couple. These two have a great love story, and my team would like to say Congratulations to both of them and the very best wishes in your marriage.

Matt + Motoko wedding was awesome! The couple were so fun and energetic, not to mention the very elegance Kimono, Wow! The bride a native Californian from Oxnard, met Matt in New York and fell in love. This is one of the many weddings I photographed that demonstate to love and destiny. May your marriage be filled with laughter and happiness. Congrations again to Motoko + Matt!
